Legal protection

Legal work in the Belarusian Trade Union of Forestry and Nature Management Workers is carried out by the Chief Legal Labor Inspector of the Republican Trade Union Committee and legal (chief legal) labor inspectors of the regional organizations of the Belarusian Trade Union of Forestry and Nature Management Workers.
Legal labor inspectors carry out public control over compliance with labor and socio-economic rights of citizens in the form of inspections, monitoring, participation in the work of collegial bodies, commissions, and organizing the reception of citizens. If violations of the law are detected, employers are issued mandatory representations with requirements for their elimination.
Legal service specialists:

- analyze and summarize information on violations of labor legislation, take measures to eliminate them, restore violated rights of citizens;
- provide legal assistance to trade union organizations, including in conducting collective negotiations, in the development and conclusion of collective agreements (agreements), in resolving individual and collective labor disputes;
- explain labor legislation to employers and employees, including by holding explanatory seminars, preparing publications in the media, methodological manuals and recommendations;
- analyze current legislation, draft regulatory legal acts affecting labor and related relations, as well as trade union rights and send their proposals on them to the governing body of the trade union.
